Job Description
We are looking for a talented Application Engineer to join Discover Financial Services, a leading digital banking and payments company. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining complex data solutions for Finance Corporate Services. You will play a crucial role in mentoring peers and providing technical thought leadership within your team.
Responsibilities
- Create solutions addressing high-impact technology and business priorities.
- Demonstrate strategic leadership and technology vision integrated with the Discover ecosystem.
- Proactively identify and mitigate issues, coaching and mentoring the team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with Agile software development methodology and ETL data integration solutions.
- Proficiency in AbInitio, SQL, Unix Scripting, Maestro/Control-M, AWS, and more.
