Astrophysics Inc. is a world-leading designer and manufacturer of X-Ray security inspection systems with a global presence across more than 150 countries. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in El Paso, Texas. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Astrophysics products at customer sites, ensuring top-notch service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of X-Ray systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Complete service documentation accurately and on time.
• Update customers and headquarters on service call progress.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and promote extended warranties.
• Provide technical training and support as needed.

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or related field OR 2-7 years of technical support/field service experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel to various work sites and work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
