Job Description

Minds Matter, LLC is seeking a passionate Registered Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals with brain injuries achieve their highest level of motor functioning and mobility. You will collaborate with consumers, therapists, and other professionals to develop and implement therapy plans that foster independence and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Implement Minds Matter, LLC's philosophical principles in service delivery.
• Supervise and provide feedback on assistant therapists' daily notes.
• Assist individuals in identifying needs and developing compensation techniques post brain injury.
• Conduct evaluations and analyze medical data to determine therapy strategies.
• Document sessions, progress notes, and evaluations as required.
• Integrate employment, educational, and independent living goals into therapy.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications.
• Educate consumers, families, and caregivers on brain injury strategies and techniques.
• Attend trainings to maintain up-to-date practice.
• Maintain professional relationships with consumers, co-workers, and community agencies.

Qualifications

• Ability to teach skills to individuals with disabilities.
• Experience in mentoring and supervising therapy assistants.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Basic technology skills (iPad proficiency required).
• Physical therapy program completion from an accredited university and current Kansas state license.

• Ability to lift as needed for consumers with physical needs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic iPad proficiency.
• Reliable transportation.
