Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Industrial/Production
AVTEC FINISHING is seeking an Experienced Manufacturing/Production Maintenance Technician for a full-time position. This jack-of-all-trades role requires mechanical aptitude to handle a variety of tasks in the manufacturing/production environment, including carpentry, electrical, welding, machine maintenance, plumbing, and HVAC. The primary responsibility is to ensure the shop's smooth operation by promptly addressing mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance tasks and repairs across electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry areas.
- Collaborate with experienced maintenance personnel for complex issues.
- Adhere to safety procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and assembly drawings.
- Manage multiple tasks concurrently and work independently when needed.
Requirements
- Trade school training or equivalent experience of at least 2 years.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical malfunctions.
- Proficiency in basic welding tasks with various equipment.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Fluency in English language for effective communication.
Compensation
Wage Range: $26-$32+/hour depending on experience and training. Signing Bonus: $1,500.00 (Not applicable for current employees).
