LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) - YADKIN NURSING CARE CENTER

Job Description

Join Liberty Healthcare Management as a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Yadkin Nursing Care Center on night shifts (7pm - 7am). In this role, you will play a key part in the nursing services unit under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist in overseeing nursing services for the unit/hall as per the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate tasks to nursing personnel and monitor their performance under RN supervision.
• Observe patients for symptoms and signs of adverse changes.
• Notify attending physicians of emergencies and patient status changes per protocols.
• Perform various assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate and a Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Hold a valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing, with timely renewals.
• Available for charge nurse responsibilities and emergency coverage.
• Proficient in providing quality nursing care, following medical orders with a focus on geriatric nursing.
• Current CPR certification and willingness to attend required training and meetings.
