Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Lead Care Manager to function as a leader to a group of Care Managers during shifts. The Lead Care Manager is responsible for ensuring quality care and services are provided to residents in accordance with individualized Service Plans and Sunrise policies. This role involves supervisory support, providing ADL care, documentation, compliance monitoring, and fostering a safe environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory support by managing shift attendance, call-offs, and shift requests.
• Support team members in providing ADL care and encouraging resident participation in life enrichment programming.
• Assist with meal service, document care provided, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain a flexible work schedule.
• Participate in crossover meetings, administer medications if needed, support new team members, maintain a safe environment, and handle resident care issues.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Medication Management Certificate and applicable certifications.
• Previous experience working with seniors.
• Leadership competencies, delegation skills, and ability to handle challenging situations.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
