Logistics Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Logistics Specialist to join our Supply Chain Team at The Town Dock, a family-owned company known for its high-quality calamari and commitment to excellence. As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing all third-party domestic logistics activities, ensuring smooth operations and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the customer-facing domestic logistics process.
• Collaborate with external partners for storage and distribution, ensuring timely delivery.
• Collect and enter data accurately for inventory reports.
• Build strong relationships with carriers and vendors to optimize logistics operations.
• Oversee loading/unloading of trucks and ensure product movement between locations.
• Develop and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the logistics department.
• Utilize ERP systems and tools effectively to streamline processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in domestic logistics.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

$26-28 per hour
