Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Mayroad, an asset management company, is seeking a Generalist Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential properties and community assets, ensuring the upkeep and safety of our facilities. This role involves a variety of maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on residential properties and community amenities.
• Respond to and complete emergency, urgent, and routine work orders.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents.
• Inspect properties and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and parts inventory.
• Enhance buildings' appearance through various maintenance tasks.
• Identify and address safety hazards promptly.
• Work onsite during emergencies or disasters to ensure resident safety.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in residential maintenance.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
• Ability to obtain HVAC/Steam certification within 12 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills and smartphone proficiency.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Work Environment

This role involves working in a residential environment, requiring the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and exposure to various hazards. Physical demands include heavy lifting, climbing, bending, and other physical activities.

Compensation

Salary Range: $23.1 - $29.62 per year
