Job Description

We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer Lead to join U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC, a renowned manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products. As the Manufacturing Engineer Site Lead, you will be responsible for managing projects, providing direction to other Manufacturing Engineers, and ensuring the achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement lean manufacturing concepts and optimize manufacturing processes. Additionally, you will be involved in tooling design, cost assessments, automation system design, manufacturing process analysis, equipment qualification, and layout design for maximum efficiency. If you have a Master's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, eight plus years of related experience, and proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO, and CAD, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and provide direction to Manufacturing Engineers to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Promote teamwork and cultivate an atmosphere that emphasizes continuous improvement in all aspects of production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while striving for on-time delivery.
  • Assess manufacturing processes for cost effectiveness and feasibility, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Lead teams in implementing lean manufacturing concepts and mentor team members.
  • Design tools, dies, automation systems, and layout for efficiency and productivity.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes, conduct value stream mapping, and quantify areas for improvement.
  • Write equipment specifications, manage experiments, and perform installation and commissioning of tools and equipment.
  • Participate in quality and safety audits, design reviews, and customer inquiries.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
  • Eight plus years of related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO, and CAD.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GD&T interpretation, and engineering principles.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
