Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Master Scheduler to join our team at ACR Electronics Inc. As the Master Scheduler, you will play a crucial role in coordinating schedules and inventories to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. You will collaborate with various departments to ensure optimal allocation of resources to meet client needs, monitor inventory levels, negotiate with vendors, and lead planning meetings to forecast demand and plan production schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, and manufacturing departments to establish schedules and allocate resources effectively.
  • Manage inventory levels and procure additional supplies as needed.
  • Negotiate with supply vendors to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Integrate sales orders with the master schedule and coordinate resources to meet delivery dates.
  • Maintain and revise the master distribution schedule as required.
  • Participate in forecasting meetings and lead planning sessions with relevant staff.
  • Create production schedules based on customer orders and internal forecasts.
  • Determine material, equipment, and labor requirements for production schedules through MRP.
  • Collaborate with purchasing to prioritize material procurement.
  • Coordinate production operations and manage changes to production schedules.
  • Ensure all job orders are tracked, fulfilled, and closed promptly.
  • Adhere to AS9100 standards and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience required.
  • Professional certification in production and inventory management preferred.
  • Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) and related software.
  • Experience with IFS software a plus.
  • Must meet ITAR requirements.
