Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level) to join our healthcare team at Cibola General Hospital. As a mid-level provider, you will be responsible for delivering accurate assessments, diagnoses, treatments, consultations, and education to patients of diverse age groups. In this role, you will work under the direction of the Supervisory Physician, maintaining thorough records and ensuring the highest quality of patient care.

Primary Functions

• Examine patients, record history, and adhere to charting protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
• Order tests or images, analyze results, and diagnose patients.
• Administer treatments, medications, and educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and make necessary referrals to specialists.
• Report critical health information to the appropriate authorities.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Must hold and maintain a current State of New Mexico license and National Board Certification.
• Required to maintain a current DEA license.

Additional Qualifications

• Prior experience with electronic medical records systems.

Relationship Reporting

Directly reports to the Clinic Administrator/Chief of Staff.

• Capability to utilize computer equipment for medical documentation.
• Ability to maintain physical stamina and dexterity for extended periods.
