Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Preferred Accounts Manager to join the dynamic team at Johns Manville Corp, a member of the prestigious Berkshire Hathaway family. In this role, you will be responsible for business development, selling efforts, and account management for key clients in the roofing industry.

Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as an industry leader and trusted partner.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert prospect accounts into long-term clients.
  • Develop multi-level relationships within existing accounts to increase business.
  • Support sales efforts by driving JM position and preference.
  • Provide enhanced services to deliver superior customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in roofing/construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience in business development and national account sales.
  • Ability to navigate complex selling situations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

  • Experience with commercial building owners and specifiers.
  • Proficiency in advanced sales techniques.
