Principal Product Owner - Talent Management and Learning

Job Description

As the Principal Product Owner for the Talent Management and Learning team at Discover Financial Services, you will play a critical role in partnering with business leaders to deliver innovative solutions that meet stakeholders' needs while managing change impacts across various functions. You will leverage your deep understanding of Talent Management, Performance Management, and Learning to drive product success and actively manage risks and issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead the prioritization of business requests and collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Define key product features and roadmaps based on insights and data.
• Align with product vision and best practices to deliver high-impact functionalities.
• Create essential product documentation and business requirements.
• Define Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and features for product delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Discover standards and quality management.
• Build a culture of accountability and ownership within the team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Product, Business, Technical, or related areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Workday's Talent Management and Performance Management products.
• Experience in project management and Agile methodology.

Compensation: Base pay between $110,500.00 to $154,900.00, with additional incentives based on experience and skill level.
