Job Description

The Program Coordinator at House of Hope Green Bay, Inc plays a crucial role in supporting community partners to address the needs of youth experiencing housing instability and homelessness. This position involves planning, implementing, evaluating direct client services aligned with case plans to facilitate the progress and success of clients in various areas, including parenting, education, employment, and stable housing. Additionally, the Program Coordinator serves as the crisis response intervention specialist for youth, offering a range of services such as assessing needs, coordinating programs, providing intake services, outreach, transportation support, and community referrals.

Essential Duties

  • Provide intervention and oversight to assigned clients.
  • Work closely with Advocates to ensure effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct client services.
  • Support clients in achieving success by collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure progress in key areas.
  • Maintain orderly conditions in the facility aligned with case plans.
  • Emphasize treating clients with dignity, crisis intervention, maintaining positive relationships, instruction on daily living skills, record-keeping, and implementing House of Hope routines.

Requirements

  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Development, Child/Youth Development, or related field.
  • Experience in providing services to individuals experiencing homelessness.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver's license and successful completion of a background check.
  • Physical and mental ability to fulfill the job requirements, including standing, bending, lifting, and handling diverse work problems.
