SERVICE ADVISOR

Job Description

We are looking for a Service Advisor to join our team at Auto Centers. As a Service Advisor, you will have the opportunity to consult with customers regarding their service needs, schedule appointments, and ensure that service technicians complete work in a timely manner. If you have excellent problem-solving skills, a strong focus on customer service, and the ability to manage people effectively, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Communicate directly with customers regarding vehicle service.
• Schedule service appointments.
• Ensure work is completed by service technicians promptly.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Effective oral communication.
• Experience managing people.

Preferred Education/Experience

One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises eight non-supervisory service technicians in the service department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
