Join Steven Douglas Corp (SDC) as a Senior Automation Control Engineer and be part of an innovative team designing custom automated machines for various industries. This dynamic role involves developing complete solutions for automated equipment, utilizing your expertise in PLC, HMI, Robotics, and Vision programming.
Responsibilities
- Design and program cutting-edge software and machine control programs, including electrical system design, PLC programming, HMI design/programming, robotic programming, and troubleshooting.
- Evaluate and select hardware and software components for tasks like motion control, sensors, and vision systems.
- Manage projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant machine deliveries and provide support through installation, start-up, and training.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field.
- 5+ years of senior-level engineering experience, with expertise in Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI, servo control, electrical design, and industrial machine vision systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and experience with microcontrollers or robotic programming is advantageous.
- Strong decision-making, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Availability to travel up to 10% for project support.
Compensation
Salary Range: $90,000 - $115,000 per year.
