Truss Designer (on-site)

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Truss Designer to join Better Living Inc. As an on-site Roof & Floor Truss and/or Wall Panel Designer, you will be responsible for creating accurate truss placement layouts and conforming to design practices.

Responsibilities

• Design roof and floor trusses using MiTek software.
• Create truss placement layouts from architectural prints.
• Specify necessary hardware and maintain job tracking.
• Provide sales and customer support.
• Maintain neat and orderly plans.
• Attend required meetings.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with MiTek Management program.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge of local codes related to truss design.
• Strong communication and project management skills.
