Job Description
We are looking for a talented Application Engineer (Full Stack) to join Discover Financial Services, a global leader in digital banking and payments. Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new features with high quality.
- Provide guidance to junior team members and ensure team commitments are met.
- Lead technology communities and contribute to product design decisions.
- Remediate issues using engineering principles and proactively design solutions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related roles.
- Technical proficiency rating of competent on the Dreyfus engineering scale for internal applicants.
Preferred Qualifications
Bonus points if you have experience with Java on Spring Boot, React, API design, cloud deployment, testing, CI/CD, and working in an Agile Environment.
