Job Description

Liberty Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Dietary Manager to join the team at Barclay at Southpark. This full-time position involves managing the dining services department, ensuring exceptional food quality and service for residents and guests. The role includes staff leadership, menu planning, inventory management, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise dining services staff, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Develop and implement staffing and scheduling systems to meet quality, cost, and safety standards.
  • Create a positive work environment that fosters high productivity and employee morale.
  • Plan and execute menus while considering food cost, portion controls, and resident preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards for meal preparation and service.
  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee proper storage and labeling of items.
  • Monitor food safety, hygiene practices, and cleanliness in kitchen and dining areas.
  • Address and resolve resident complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements

  • Degree in a related field or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) certificate.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in kitchen/culinary food service operation.
  • Knowledge of health inspection regulations and food safety standards.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
