Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Emergency Psych Evaluator (Social Worker) to join the team at Sinai Hospital under LifeBridge Health. In this full-time position with a day shift schedule, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive Behavioral Health assessments, evaluations, and care recommendations for patients in the Emergency Department and beyond. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals, providing crisis intervention, developing care plans, and ensuring effective communication with patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Behavioral Health assessments and crisis intervention for psychiatric patients in the Emergency Department.
- Collaborate with ED attending providers and psychiatrists to develop care recommendations.
- Recommend and document psychiatric care plans for patients in the Emergency Department.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues regarding care plans.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Counseling.
- 1-3 years of previous Social Work or Counseling experience.
- LCSW-C or LCPC licensure required.
