Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Expert Cybersecurity Analyst to join Discover Financial Services, a leading digital banking and payments company. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing cybersecurity program processes and outputs, contributing to the overall program roadmap, and driving reporting accuracy. Your responsibilities will include managing risk, supporting governance and oversight of risk and controls, and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective risk management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reports and presentations to leadership, regulatory bodies, and oversight organizations.
• Ensure program compliance with audit, regulatory, and legal requirements.
• Define and promote the strategic direction of the Cybersecurity program.
• Support the management and response to Cybersecurity audit findings and emerging risks.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Information Technology, Analytics, Business, or Project Management.
• 8+ years of experience in relevant fields; 10+ years without a degree.
• Expert technical proficiency in cybersecurity.

Preferred Qualifications

• CISM, CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP certifications are advantageous.
