Lawn Care Applicator

Job Description

We are currently hiring a Licensed Lawn Care Applicator to join Wise Landscaping's team in Dayton. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-quality fertilization and weed control services to our commercial clients' turf and ornamental landscapes. This role presents an opportunity for growth within the company, leading to managerial positions like Turf Manager and Associate Production Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional work on all assigned jobs.
• Complete production within allocated labor hours and material budgets.
• Prepare and maintain necessary products, equipment, and supplies on the truck.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Actively participate in team meetings and ensure safety in all duties.
• Diagnose and address turf problems.
• Identify new leads and communicate enhancements to the Account Manager.
• Maintain pesticide applicator license through ongoing education.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and care with Fleet Services Manager.
• Perform additional tasks during off-peak seasons, such as snow events.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Current applicator license.
• Minimum of 2 years' practical experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Proficiency in application-based job management software and fleet management tools.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
