Job Description

Join Liberty Healthcare Management as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate care in a challenging yet rewarding environment. As an LPN, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, delegate tasks, monitor patient conditions, notify physicians of emergencies, and ensure high-quality nursing care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
• Delegate duties to other nursing personnel and monitor their work performance.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, reporting any adverse changes.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and follow physicians' orders.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• High school graduate and Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Hold a current, valid license from the state's Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and provide care during emergencies.
• Ability to deliver quality nursing care, follow medical instructions, and show interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification on an annual basis.
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings.
