Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in assisting with the direction of nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, monitoring patient's conditions, and ensuring quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall.
• Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
• Observe patients for symptoms/reactions and notify physicians of emergencies.
• Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care, follow doctors' orders, and have a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
• CPR certified yearly.
• Attend in-service training as required.
