Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Commons of Lee County. This part-time night position involves assisting in the direction of nursing services, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the direction of nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor their performance.
- Observe and assess patients for symptoms and signs of adverse changes.
- Notify attending physicians of emergencies and patient status updates.
- Implement changes in medical orders as instructed by physicians.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and provide care during emergencies.
- Ability to deliver quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
- Current CPR certification and commitment to ongoing training and education.
