Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Skilled Long Term Care/Rehab Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In this full-time role with day shifts, you will work as a Staff Nurse providing the best medical and emotional care to residents and patients. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles and physical assessment skills to ensure residents' needs are met.
- Attend to daily unit operations and assume leadership responsibilities as required.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide high-quality care and support.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Practical Nursing license and AHA BLS CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
- Compassionate, motivated, and dedicated to helping others.
Unit Summary
The Hall 1 unit at Levindale is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit specializing in subacute rehabilitation with high complexity needs. Staff members in Hall 1 must be compassionate and dedicated to providing exceptional care.
