Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Brain Health Unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. As an LPN in our facility, you will be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of individualized nursing care plans under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing principles and basic assessment skills to ensure the well-being of our residents. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to assume leadership responsibilities as needed and contribute to the daily operations of the unit.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Assist in daily unit operations and provide leadership as required.
- Utilize basic computer skills and specialized medical equipment.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing or equivalent.
- Valid License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification.
- Experience with medical equipment such as IV pumps, EKG machines, and monitoring systems.
