Unit Summary:
Hall 1 is a 40-45 bed long-term care unit that offers residents daily activities along with a wide range of services and support. Hall 1 is a subacute rehabilitation unit with high complexity of needs requiring compassionate, motivated, and dedicated staff.
Job Summary:
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans ensuring residents' needs are met. Assumes a leadership role as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize a general understanding of nursing principles.
- Attend to daily unit operations and assume a leadership role as required.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in nursing; Less than one year of experience.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a License for Practical Nursing.
- AHA CPR Certification.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical equipment.
