Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the subacute rehabilitation unit at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD. In this full-time position with a weekend commitment on the night shift, you will be a vital member of Hall 1, a long-term care unit providing specialized care to residents with high complexity needs. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the well-being of residents and assuming leadership responsibilities as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Utilize nursing principles and basic assessment skills to deliver quality care.
- Attend to unit operations on a per-shift basis and take on leadership duties when required.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to meet residents' needs effectively.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
- Less than one year of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and medical equipment operation.
- Current AHA CPR Certification.
