Medication Aide

Job Description

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide to administer medication and treatments to residents in a safe and organized manner. As a Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of care and services while upholding the mission of Sunrise Senior Living.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and treatments following established protocols.
• Document medication administration accurately.
• Provide resident care with compassion and in adherence to regulations.
• Participate in resident care communication and risk management.
• Contribute to team success through regular training and engagement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED; certifications as per state regulations.
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations and make sound decisions.
• Effective communication skills and a desire to care for seniors.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
