Job Description
Corewell Health is currently looking to hire a Full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team in Dearborn. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology, following established policies and procedures to ensure the best possible images for interpretation. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient histories and effectively document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently while ensuring patient, staff, and self radiation exposure is minimized.
- Contribute to departmental operations through quality assurance, training, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
