Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health on a full-time basis during afternoon shifts. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring patient safety and providing the best possible images for interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and ensure timely relay of STAT requests.
- Provide procedural information/education to patients and families prior to exams.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas and assist in training of students/new hires.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT certification upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT certification within 180 days of hire.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA certification upon hire.
