Job Description
We are currently seeking a Full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
General Summary
Under supervision, the Radiology Technologist will acquire patient histories, conduct diagnostic exams, monitor patients during procedures, and ensure the transmission of STAT requests to radiologists promptly. The role involves effective communication, patient education, equipment operation, quality control compliance, and assistance in training new staff.
Essential Duties
- Perform high-quality diagnostic exams following proper protocols.
- Document accurate patient histories and ensure patient safety.
- Effectively communicate with various departments and staff members.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
- Educate patients on procedures and contribute to departmental operations.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Certifications: CRT-R, CRT-RT, BLS required.
