Job Description
Join our team at Corewell Health as a Full-Time Radiology Technologist working afternoons. We are offering increased pay rates and a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus for this position. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and advancing medicine through diagnostic imaging.
General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation while adhering to radiation protection principles and regulations. You will provide clinical instruction, maintain patient and family-centered care, and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with patient safety in mind.
- Acquire patient history and document accurately.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently.
- Utilize ALARA standards for radiation exposure.
- Provide procedural information to patients.
- Contribute to department operations and quality control.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Certifications including CRT-R, CRT in Radiologic Technology, and BLS.
