Radiology Technologist Full Time Afternoons

General Summary
Under supervision, performs diagnostic exams in general radiology ensuring good clinical skills and the best possible images for interpretation. Adheres to radiation protection principles and regulations, follows Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures for safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow policies for malfunctions.
- Contribute to department effectiveness by assisting fellow employees and complying with quality control.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-R Radiographer (R) - ARRT upon hire required.
- Required BLS certification upon hire.
