General Summary
As a Radiology Technologist at Corewell Health, you will perform accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. Your responsibilities include acquiring patient history, ensuring patient safety during procedures, and operating diagnostic imaging equipment following safety protocols.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician orders.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas, ensuring compliance with quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-BLS certifications required.
