Job Description
We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, while upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Obtain accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow policies for quality control.
- Provide procedural information/education to patients and families.
- Maintain competency in all assigned areas and assist in training new hires.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required upon hire.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required within 180 days.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA required upon hire.
