Job Description
Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This part-time position, scheduled for weekends (7am - 7pm), offers a fulfilling opportunity to provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Assure quality nursing care by following physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.
- Administer medications as ordered by the physician and according to facility policies.
- Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
- Assist physicians with rounds and patient care during examinations and treatments.
- Perform scheduled treatments and maintain infection control measures.
- Assist with research related to nursing care quality and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Graduated Registered Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Genuine interest in geriatric nursing and providing quality care to patients.
- CPR certification required annually.
- Ability to supervise nursing assistants and work effectively with all nursing personnel and departments.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to make critical decisions regarding patient care.
