Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Mid South Transplant Foundation. If you are passionate about saving lives through organ and tissue donation, then this role is perfect for you.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site visits to donor hospitals within a 3-hour radius of Memphis, TN.
- Determine the initial suitability of potential organ and tissue donors by evaluating case dynamics and clinical data.
- Communicate effectively with hospital and physician teams as well as off-site staff.
- Assess medical records and conduct bedside assessments to determine medical suitability for donation.
Working Hours
Full-time position requiring 12 to 15 days per month, with a 24-hour call schedule. Availability for 2 weekends per month and some holidays is essential.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU setting preferred, or Advanced EMT/Paramedic.
- Degree in a medical or related field is acceptable.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical or hospital experience required.
- Salary range: $60k/yr - $74k/yr based on experience.
