Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Elizabethtown Community Hospital. As a Registered Professional Nurse, you will be responsible for managing patient care in the Emergency Room, utilizing the nursing process to ensure high-quality care and positive patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Room setting.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to make timely and accurate nursing assessments.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in NYS.
• Past experience in the Emergency Department is preferred.
• One year of medical/surgical experience as an RN.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
