Banner Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse RN to join our Outpatient Observation Unit at Banner Ironwood Medical Center. Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients according to organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice.
• Review patient history and physical, diagnostics, and laboratory data; complete assessment and reassessments as necessary based on patient need and policy.
• Formulate a plan of care based on patient-specific needs, and review and revise the plan of care to reflect changing patient needs.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of the health care team's activities.
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, and revise the plan of care as needed; document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the patient record.
• Participate in unit or facility shared leadership and activities that lead to excellent patient outcomes through timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and safe care.
• Interact with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, families, and external contacts concerning the health care of the patient; synthesize and prioritize data from multiple sources to provide support for the human response of the patient and family to changes in health status.
