REGISTERED NURSE (RN) - YADKIN NURSING CARE CENTER

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated REGISTERED NURSE (RN) to join the team at Yadkin Nursing Care Center. In this role, you will be responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients, administering medications, supervising nursing assistants, assisting physicians, and maintaining infection control measures.

Responsibilities

• Assure quality nursing care by following physician's orders, state and federal regulations, and facility policies.
• Administer medications as prescribed and per facility protocols.
• Lead, guide, and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies.
• Assist physicians with rounds and patient care when required.
• Perform scheduled treatments, maintain infection control measures, and adhere to cleanliness regulations.
• Contribute to research on nursing care quality as assigned.
• Assist with new admissions unit/hall processes and patient physicals.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current RN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients.
• Ensure timely CPR certification and attend all required training and meetings.
• Supervise nursing assistants effectively and collaborate well with all team members and departments.
• Exercise sound judgment in nursing problem-solving with patience and empathy for patients and families.
