Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Risk Management Analyst (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our team at PacifiCorp in Portland, Oregon. As a Risk Management Analyst, you will provide independent and objective analysis and support to the front office, risk oversight committee, and senior management by conducting research, interpreting data, developing recommendations, presenting analyses, and assisting in implementing risk management policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare market price data and risk reports daily to support energy supply management activities.
- Monitor power and natural gas positions against risk management limits.
- Assist in responding to internal and external data requests.
- Review transactions for compliance with risk management policies.
- Prepare reports summarizing transaction and market activity.
- Assist in maintaining and enforcing energy risk management policies.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in risk management or related field.
- Proficiency with data analysis tools and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to various projects.
Preferences
- Advanced degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of energy management and risk activities in regulated markets.
- Experience with automation tools and energy trading software.
Additional Information
Hiring Range: $76,200 - $118,400
This position includes health care, retirement, paid time off, and various other benefits.
