Job Description
Windsor Run by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our team in Matthews, North Carolina. As a Sous Chef, you will oversee kitchen production, food preparation, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our residents.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen production and food preparation for timely service.
- Direct menu item preparation, food safety, and quality compliance.
- Supervise culinary and utility staff, including scheduling and training.
- Ensure organization and sanitation in dining rooms, kitchen, and storage areas.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years full-service experience.
- Minimum 6 months supervisory experience.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, culinary program graduate a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied temperatures.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
