Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your role will involve assisting physicians, monitoring patients, managing vascular access sites, and ensuring quality patient/family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during routine invasive procedures.
- Provide technical support and patient care during procedures.
- Perform and document hemodynamic/physiologic waveforms and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and equipment quality.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography or cardiovascular technologist program.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Active BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
