Job Description
Corewell Health is currently looking for a Full-time Special Procedure Tech to join our team. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians and delivering quality patient-centered care. This role involves performing IV starts, monitoring hemodynamics, operating equipment, documenting procedures, and educating patients and families.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform and record hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams and maintain quality standards.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and department guidelines.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology; various educational backgrounds for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR is required.
- Certifications like BLS, ACLS, and specific RCIS/RCES/RT certifications.
- Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills.
