General Summary:
As a Special Procedure Tech at Corewell Health, you will provide direct care and assistance to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. Your responsibilities include assisting physicians, monitoring patients, operating equipment, and ensuring quality patient care.
Essential Duties:
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform hemodynamic/physiologic wave forms and calculations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, physicians, and patients.
- Maintain radiation safety standards and perform quality assurance checks on equipment.
Standard Qualifications:
- Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or EP Lab training and certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
