Job Description:
Corewell Health is seeking a Special Procedure Tech to join our team, providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures. This position involves pre, intra, and post-procedure assistance to physicians, maintaining quality patient care throughout. The role includes IV starts, patient prep, equipment operation, hemodynamic monitoring, documentation, and patient/family education.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support patients during invasive procedures.
- Assist in recording hemodynamic data and waveforms.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients.
- Maintain quality standards and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and specialized certifications as required.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
