Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health, a leading healthcare provider in Southeast Michigan. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will be responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, assisting physicians, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during invasive procedures and provide technical support.
- Perform IV starts, prep patients, monitor hemodynamics, operate equipment, and document procedures.
- Ensure quality patient/family education and care throughout the process.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology; Cardiovascular Technologist program for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
- 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR is required.
- Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and RT-CV/VI/RT are essential.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and computer skills.
