Job Description
We are looking for a Tech in Charge to join our team at First Student, the leading school transportation provider in North America. In this role, you will serve as a Lead Diesel Mechanic for the Vashon Island School District. Key Responsibilities
- Schedule and perform school bus fleet maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex vehicle problems.
- Supervise technicians and track work progress.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vehicle components for effective repairs.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license; willingness to obtain CDL while employed.
- 5+ years of automotive or diesel maintenance experience.
- Previous lead technician or managerial experience preferred.
- ASE certification and mechanic's tool set required.
